Ivanka Trump Opens Store In Trump Tower Lobby
The new Ivanka Trump store will sell the first daughter's collection of handbags, jewelry and holiday ornaments.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — There's a new retail tenant in Trump Tower and it's headed by — you guessed it — a Trump.
First daughter and White House employee Ivanka Trump has opened the first brick-and-mortar location for her collection of handbags, jewelry and other fashions, a brand spokesperson said. The store opened its doors Thursday, just in time for the holiday shopping season.
Ivanka Trump's first foray into brick-and-mortar retail comes after several retailers stopped carrying her brand in response to President Donald Trump's controversial statements and divisive rhetoric. The brand saw surging sales after now Opiods Czar Kellyanne Conway said — as a representative of the U.S. government — "go buy Ivanka's stuff" after the brand was dropped by Nordstrom in February, the Washington Post reported.

The store itself is more like a display wall, a fashion reporter from The Hollywood Reporter tweeted Thursday. The tiny space has a limited collection of goods on sale, according to the reported. The brand plans to rotate offerings at the Trump Tower store and has not decided whether it will branch out further into brick-and-mortar retail, a spokesperson said.
The Ivanka Trump store will be open in Trump Tower seven days a week, a brand spokesperson said.
