Trump Tower Evacuated Due to 'Suspicious Package' Full of Children's Toys: NYPD
BREAKING: Trump Tower, the NYC headquarters of President-elect Donald Trump, was evacuated as police investigated a suspicious package.
MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — Trump Tower, the Midtown Manhattan headquarters of President-elect Donald Trump was evacuated late Tuesday afternoon due to reports of a suspicious package, an NYPD spokesman told Patch.
The NYPD bomb squad arrived at Trump Tower to investigate an unattended bag, which turned out to be full of children's toys, an NYPD spokesman told Patch. The police have given the all clear to return to Trump Tower, according to a department spokesman.

One transition pool reporter confirmed the tower was being evacuated, but that Trump is in Florida.
