Woman Attacks 73-Year-Old In Manhattan Subway Station, Police Say
The victim was riding an uptown-bound E train approaching Fifth Avenue and 53rd Street when the chaotic scene unfolded.

MIDTOWN, NY — Police were looking Tuesday for a woman who punched a 73-year-old woman on an E train in Midtown, New York City Police Department officials said.
According to the NYPD, the victim was on an uptown-bound E train approaching Fifth Avenue and 53rd Street on May 1 at 4:30 p.m. when another woman approached her and started yelling at her.
When the victim got off the train, the perpetrator followed, punching her multiple times in the face before fleeing the location on a Queens-bound E train, police said.

Medics treated the victim at the scene for minor injuries, police said.
Police are still investigating the incident, and no arrests have been made yet.

Police have released surveillance photos of the suspect, who they describe as a woman with green and blonde hair with tattoos on her legs and left arm.
