Women's March Draws 400K | Midtown Manhattan Year In Review

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — The year is coming to an end in Midtown Manhattan, and 2017 can certainly be described as eventful. There was no shortage of big news stories this year that are worth looking back at as we head into 2018.

Women's March On NYC Drew Crowd Of 400,000

Donald Trump is now the 45th president of the United States, a fact that doesn't sit well for many in Manhattan, where Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton won big. To amplify their unhappiness and underscore their demands for equality, an estimated 400,000 people took over Midtown Manhattan Saturday for the Women's March on NYC, according to the Mayor's Office.

NYC Port Authority Terror Attacker Linked To ISIS

An ISIS-inspired terrorist with a crude bomb strapped to his chest injured three people and himself and caused panic inside a busy Midtown subway station Monday morning in the latest terror attack on New York City.

Ian Schrager, former owner of famed 1970s nightclub Studio 54, was granted a presidential pardon for a tax evasion sentence stemming from 1980, according to the White House.

The cold couldn't stop "Breakfast at Tiffany's" fans from lining up around the block of the jewelry maker's Fifth Avenue flagship store Friday for the opening of its new cafe.
