MILLER PLACE-ROCKY POINT, NY- The region is preparing for blizzard conditions Saturday, with up to a foot of snow expected on Long Island.
Conditions are expected to deteriorate Saturday morning, with the biggest snowfall and wind gusts (up to 50 mph) likely Saturday afternoon through the evening. Coastal flood warnings and watches will also be in effect for large portions of Long Island.
