Crime Report: Mt. Sinai Woman Allegedly Steals Sandals from Walgreens

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Eric Scavetta, 28, of Rocky Point, was arrested June 13 in Rocky Point and charged with seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

A 16-year-old girl, of Sound Beach, was arrested June 13 in Rocky Point and charged with seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Donna Hancock, 53, of Shoreham, was arrested June 12 in East Setauket and charged with petty larceny. Hancock allegedly stole various items from Walmart that she put in her purse.

Keith Kocka, 24, of Stony Brook, was arrested June 11 in Sound Beach and charged with seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Police said he was arrested at approximately 9:30 p.m. while seated in a 2000 Toyota.

Stephanie Richards, 20, of Rocky Point, was arrested June 11 in Sound Beach and charged with seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Richards was arrested along with Kocka, according to police.

Melanie Wersan, 20, of Mt. Sinai, was arrested June 11 in Patchogue and charged with petty larceny. Wersan was arrested at approximately 8 a.m. at Walgreens for allegedly taking two pairs of sandals and various make-up products without paying for them.

John Pazienza, 21, of Mt. Sinai, was arrested June 9 in East Setauket and charged with petty larceny. Pazienza allegedly took an LED light and a small gas burner from an undisclosed store without paying for them.
