Crime Report: Woman Allegedly Steals from Miller Place Stop & Shop
The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Dana Didonato, 22, of Mt. Sinai, was arrested Sept. 26 in Holstville and charged with seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor. Didonato was seated in a 2001 Hyundai and allegedly engaged in a hand-to-hand drug transaction.
Bernadette Polat, 47, of Rocky Point, was arrested Sept. 25 in Miller Place and charged with petty larceny, a misdemeanor. Polat allegedly stole assorted items from the Miller Place Stop & Shop.
Rachel Taddonio, 27, of Miller Place, was arrested Sept. 25 at the Suffolk County Precinct Department Sixth Precinct in Selden and charged with fifth degree criminal possession of stolen property, a misdemeanor. She is alleged to have knowingly possessed stolen property from Pawn Brokers of America on Medford Avenue in Patchogue.

Travis Atkinson, 34, of Mt. Sinai, was arrested Sept. 25 in Brookhaven and charged with first-offense DWI, a misdemeanor. Police said Atkinson was found to be intoxicated while being interviewed by police after he was involved in a crash.
