Legislator Anker Attends Annual Senior Picnic
Suffolk County Legislator Sarah Anker recently attended Town of Brookhaven's Annual Senior Citizens Picnic and Barbecue.
Ridge, NY, June 2015 – Suffolk County Legislator Sarah Anker recently attended Town of Brookhaven’s Annual Senior Citizens Picnic and Barbecue on Wednesday, June 10. The picnic offered a great opportunity for constituents to learn about senior services and meet their elected officials.
“The picnic offers a great opportunity for our senior citizens enjoy a day filled with great food and friends, and to receive important information on services and programs offered throughout the town and county,” said Legislator Anker. “I will continue to work with our senior residents to ensure that they are receiving the best quality of life possible.”
The Town of Brookhaven’s Division of Senior Services provides information and assistance to senior citizens regarding upcoming social events, transportation, home repair, and volunteer opportunities for Brookhaven’s seniors.
