Legislator Anker Attends Wading River Civic Meeting

Wading River, NY- On Thursday June 25th, Suffolk County Legislator Sarah Anker was the guest speaker alongside Suffolk County Legislator Al Krupski at the Wading River Civic meeting. Legislator Anker provided the civic association with an update on Rails to Trails in addition to current and future projects occurring throughout the 6th Legislative District.

“I would like to thank the Wading River Civic Association for inviting me to their meeting,” said Legislator Anker. “It was a pleasure meeting residents of the community and providing an update on current projects I am working on.”

The Wading River Civic holds their meetings on the 4th Thursday of each month.. The civic association also works with other organizations on shared projects, such as ways to beautify the town of Wading River, and community events such as the annual Duck Pond Day.
