Legislator Anker Honors Rocky Point Eagle Scouts

Legislator Sarah Anker recognizes Eagle Scouts Kieran J. Maroney and Kenneth Matthew Schick from Troop 244 of Rocky Point.

Rocky Point, NY- Suffolk County Legislator Sarah Anker recognized Eagle Scout recipients Kieran J. Maroney and Kenneth Matthew Schick from Troop 244 of Rocky Point. The Eagle Scout Court of Honor was held on May 30th at the Rocky Point High School.

“I would like to congratulate these young men on achieving this great honor of Eagle Scout,” said Legislator Anker. “Their hard work and dedication is a vital asset to our community, and I wish them both continued success in their future endeavors.”

Kieran Maroney and Kenneth Schick completed numerous requirements for their Eagle Scout Awards. Kenneth created a platform in the Rocky High School auditorium that assisted the tech crew with their work during school performances. Kieran created an informational kiosk at the Rolling Oaks Golf Course, which highlights information pertaining to heart problems.
