Legislator Anker Participates in Middle Country Road Task Force

CORAM, N.Y. – On Wednesday, July 29th, Suffolk County Legislator Sarah Anker participated in the Middle Country Road Task Force, held at the Middle Island Fire Department. The meeting provided a forum for elected officials, community leaders, local residents and business owners to address concerns and provide suggestions in efforts to improve the Coram–Middle Island portion of Middle Country Road.

“The voice of the community is vital to the Middle Country Road Task Force,” said Legislator Anker. “The issue of crime and blight along the corridor can best be resolved by working together to prioritize issues and in our efforts to improve the overall quality of life.”
