Legislator Anker Works with Community Leaders on Evaluating Middle Country Road Corridor

Middle Island, NY– On Friday June 26th, Suffolk County Legislator Sarah Anker participated in the Middle Country Road Walking Tour alongside community leaders and elected officials. The tour began at the eastern section of Middle Country Road in Middle Island and continued west on the roadway. The purpose of the tour was to provide an inventory of properties and traffic safety concerns along the corridor.

“As elected officials and community leaders, it is vital that we do everything we can to evaluate and address concerns in our communities,” said Legislator Anker. “It is my hope that we can better prioritize and address the continued blight and safety concerns along this road.”
