Miller Place Accident Sends Four to Hospital [Photos]

Both vehicles overturn in early Friday morning accident on Route 25A in Miller Place.

A two-car crash at the intersection of Route 25A and Sylvan Avenue sent four to the hospital early Friday morning.

The Miller Place Fire Department was called to the scene at approximately 12:01 a.m. Friday morning. MPFD Chief's found two cars overturned with one person trapped.

The two vehicles were approximately 500 feet apart and one vehicle ended up impaled on a tree, according to First Assistant Chief Kyle Markott. Firefighters extricated the person trapped from the car, and Port Jefferson Ambulance and Sound Beach EMS helped bring the four who were injured to .
