Over 100 Miller Place Athletes Celebrated at Award Dinner and Ceremony

The Athletic Department held a dinner to honor all 103 senior athletes and celebrate athletic accomplishments.

The Varsity Boys Golf, Varisty Softball and Varsity Girls Track teams received sportsmanship awards, after receiving nominations by their opponents.

Several students received scholarships for their outstanding athletic achievement. Seniors Matthew Hinchy and Kayla Ceschini received the Walter P. McCoyd Outstanding Senior Athlete Scholarship, named for the founder of the Miller Place Booster Club. 

Hinchy will be attending the State University of New York at Albany and playing on the Division 1 baseball team. Ceschini is headed to the girlssoccer team at State University of New York at Oneonta.
