Positional Boys Fall Lacrosse Clinic Hosted By Summit Sports Clinics

Summit Sports is pleased to announce that on Saturday, October 25 , 2014, there will be a 2 hour Lacrosse clinic being held at Heritage Park in Mt. Sinai NY from 9:30 am to 11:30 am. (be early to register on site or preregister at the website below) Heritage Park is located at 633 Mt. Sinai Coram Rd, Mt Sinai, NY 11766.

This is a clinic for boys ages 6-11. All must have full gear to participate. This will be a positional clinic for attack, midfield and defensive skills. The focus will be on ball and stick handling, speed and all other appropriate skills as well as face-offs. This is a clinic for all skill sets as both basic and advanced techniques will be covered.

Heading the clinic will be Lacrosse expert -Andrew “Mookie” Alderman. Mookie is a lacrosse player and youth coach that helped lead his East Meadow High School team to a summer championship. He has been a staff member of the NY Lizards Professional Outdoor Lacrosse team for over 10 years and a staff member of the NY Titans Professional Indoor Lacrosse team as well , directly learning the sport of lacrosse from the best players and coaches in the history of the sport . He went on to play and graduate from Adelphi University with a degree in Physical Education and is now currently a member of the Israel Men’s Lacrosse Team and played at the International World Lacrosse Games, this past summer in Denver ,Colorado . He also worked closely with the US Lacrosse Organization , to rave reviews this summer as well. Mookie’s passion , understanding and skill for teaching youth lacrosse has propelled him to be a part of many lacrosse camps and clinics, held both nationally and internationally, all while working to pursue his career .
