Eagle pride was in the air as students, community residents and administrators took part in Rocky Point High's homecoming festivities.

Eagle pride was in the air as students, community residents and administrators took part in Rocky Point High School's homecoming festivities on Sept. 16.

The game against Harborfields High School was only one of the highlights of the lively day. The annual parade started at Frank J. Carasiti Elementary School and winded along the road through the high school parking lot. It brought out hundreds of spectators who enjoyed the celebrated marching band, food stands, spirited games and award-winning cheerleading team before the players took the field.

The Eagles varsity football team performed well on the field, but despite their best efforts, lost to the Harborfield Tornadoes, 20-13.
