RP Alum Annunziato Earns All-ECC Honors

NYIT Sophomore and Rocky Point High School 2008 graduate Justin Annunziato earned an honorable mention on the All-East Coast Conference lacrosse awards list for his performance during the 2011 season.

Annunziato made his mark off the bench for the Bears this season in 13 games with 44 groundballs while causing 16 turnovers. He also went 3-for-6 in faceoffs.

Annunziato was a member of the 2008 Class B Long Island and New York State Champion Eagles squad and was rated No. 80 overall and No. 22 among defensemen in the Class of 2008 by Inside Lacrosse Magazine. He played on season for the Syracuse Orangemen in 2008 before transferring to NYIT. In his freshman season with the Bears he picked up 23 groundballs and caused eight turnovers.
