Southbound Fundraiser Supports Local Church

Local country band, Southbound, hosted a Halloween fundraiser to support St. Anthony's Church in Rocky Point.

Mount Sinai, NY – Suffolk County Legislator Sarah Anker joined local country band Southbound on Friday, October 30th, for a Halloween fundraiser. The event took place at the Mt. Sinai Moose Lodge and proceeds benefitted the outreach center of St. Anthony of Padua Church in Rocky Point.

“The fundraiser was a great way to celebrate Halloween while also helping the local community,” said Legislator Anker. “Thank you to Southbound who dedicated their time to put on a great performance for a great cause.”

The fundraiser included great music by Southbound, a local country band, as well as line dancing and raffles. Legislator Anker had the honor of judging the costume contest. To make a donation to St. Anthony’s outreach center, please contact 631-744-2609.
