Mostly sunny and pleasant. High: 71, low: 60.
Here are the top stories in Mineola today:

- The FBI has joined forces with the Nassau County Police Department (NCPD) to find the man who threw acid in the face of a young Elmont woman in the driveway of her home in March. The 21-year-old Hofstra University student, Nafiah Ikram, sustained serious injuries to her face, eyes and arms. The FBI and NCPD are offering a $20,000 reward to anyone who comes forward with information that leads to an arrest. (Long Island Press)
