Cops: 2 in Albertson Found with Stolen Car, Burglar Tools

The men were arrested Saturday, police say.

Two Queens men in Albertson were arrested Saturday after they were spotted leaving a vehicle that was reported stolen, authorities said.

Nassau Police say after officers responded to a 911 call for suspicious activity on Evans Avenue, they found the vehicle, unoccupied. Officers obtained descriptions of the men who exited the vehicle and located Zhora Musheyev, 38, and Malkiel Yusupov, 26, both of Forest Hills.

After an investigation, both men were arrested without incident at 1:40 a.m., police said.

Yusupov was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and possession of burglars tools, police said.

Musheyev was charged with third-degree unauthorized use of vehicle and possession of burglars tools, police said.

Both men were scheduled for arraignment on Sunday at First District Court in Hempstead.
