Many of us have misplaced our keys, forgotten someone’s name or had other moments of forgetfulness, commonly called “senior moments.” Although memory lapses are often a normal part of the aging process, at times they may be symptomatic of a more serious issue.
To learn more, the public is invited to attend Winthrop-University Hospital’s Health Update for Seniors free lecture, “Memory Changes: What’s Normal, What’s Not,” on Wednesday, March 14, 2012, at 1:15 PM.
It will be held at the Mineola Community Center, 155 Washington Avenue in Mineola.
