Milton Avery & The End of Modernism: The Late Years

Museum Director Karl E. Willers, Ph.D presents a series of three lectures on Milton Avery, whose paintings are presently on view at the museum in a major exhibition organized by Dr. Willers.

Dr. Willers is a long-time scholar of Avery’s works; he first curated an Avery exhibition while in undergraduate school. Each of the lectures covers a major section of the exhibition’s catalogue.

Admission for the full series of three lectures is $45 ($25 for museum members) and includes museum admission. Admission for individual lectures is $20 ($10 for members) and includes museum admission. Advance reservations are required; register at nassaumuseum.org/events. Weekends only there is a $2 parking fee (members, free).
