“My Generation is Leaving You a Mess — So What Are You Going to Do About It?”

The Nassau Community College Cultural Program is proud to present “My Generation is Leaving You a Mess — So What Are You Going to Do About It?,” a presentation by distinguished activist and columnist Peter Goldmark in the College Center Building.

Peter Goldmark’s opinion column can be read every Sunday in “Newsday.” He has had exceptional careers in both the public and private sectors, including serving as a former budget director of New York State and former publisher of the “International Herald Tribune.” Goldmark also headed the climate program at the Environmental Defense Fund, was a trustee of the Rockefeller Brothers Fund and served as director of the newspaper and Internet publisher Knight Ridder Inc. Among his other positions have been director of the Dreyfus Third Century Mutual Fund, a trustee of the Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.

In addition, Goldmark has taught courses at the JFK School of Government, Harvard University and Yale College, among others. He holds a B.A. from Harvard University.
