NCC Women's History Month Committee Presents: Women Claiming Justice

In celebration of Women’s History Month, the Nassau Community College Women’s History Month Committee offers events that discuss the politics of gender. All programs take place in the College Center Building and are free and open to the public.

Panel Discussion on Homeless Teens in Prostitution and Trafficking, Tuesday, March 8, 11:30 a.m. Rachel Lloyd of GEMS (Girls Education and Mentoring Services) heads the discussion. This event is co-sponsored by the NCC Black History Month Committee and Haraya, an NCC club that focuses on the African American experience in the diaspora.
