Flyers Place Second at NY Forensic League Championships
Manhattan-based Nightingale-Bamford School takes first place at NY Forensic League championships.
The weekend of April 13-14 Chaminade High School hosted the NY Forensic League State Tournament.
The championship asked teams to debate the following resolution: "The continuation of current U.S. anti-drug policies in Latin America will do more harm than good."
The various teams prepared for months to qualify for this event—practicing both in and out of school and even over spring break.
The Manhattan-based Nightingale-Bamford School ended up placing first, winning the state championship while the Chaminade debate team finished second in NY and the Flyers speech team finished in ninth place.
