Mineola Chamber Awards 2013 College Scholarships
Chamber bestows annual scholarships to graduating Mineola and Chaminade seniors.

The Mineola Chamber of Commerce selected its annual recipients of the Jerry Mehlman Scholarship Award during its final meeting of the season at Piccola Bussola on June 18.
Originally dubbed the Mineola Chamber of Commerce scholarships, the award was in honor of Jerry Mehlman, one of the founders of the Mineola Chamber, who passed away in 2011 at the age of 86. The awards are given annually to one graduating senior each from Mineola High School and Chaminade High School.
This year there were in fact three recipients: Fred Lang and Angela McColgan of Mineola High School and Chaminade student Christopher Heller.
