Mineola Residents Reminded to Move Cars if Snow Hits Monday

National Weather Service issues snow advisory for March 25.

The National Weather Service has issued a snow advisory for the Long Island area for March 25.

Mineola residents and businesses are reminded by village officials that all vehicles must be removed from all streets once two inches of snow has fallen.

Snowfall is predicted throughout the day Monday. Snow may heavy at times, with the heaviest snowfall expected in the late afternoon/early evening. One to three-inch accumulations may occur.

Vehicles must remain off streets until 24 hours after snowfall ends or until plowing is completed, whichever event first occurs. Because this may be a wet, heavy snow, multiple passes by plows may be required.

Code Enforcement officers will be on duty to enforce snow regulations.
