• Moderna's cancer vaccine hits key goal in melanoma trial with NYU Langone link (newsday.com) — Mineola's NYU Langone Hospital — Long Island participated in a major Phase 3 trial of Moderna and Merck's personalized mRNA melanoma vaccine, contributing one patient to the global study. Early results suggest the vaccine, combined with Keytruda, may significantly reduce melanoma's return and spread, with researchers hopeful the approach could eventually extend to other cancers affecting New Yorkers.
