Woman Tried to Use Forged Credit Card in Westbury: Police

Several forged credit cards were found in her possession, police say.

A Queens woman was arrested Tuesday after police say she tried to buy items in Westbury using a fraudulent credit card.

According to authorities, Briana Quinones, 18, tried to make a purchase with a forged Visa card at Micro-Center, located at 655 Merrick Ave., and was subsequently placed under arrest at 12:30 p.m.

Further investigation revealed Quinones was also allegedly in possession of three other forged credit cards.

She was charged with four counts of second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument. She will be arraigned Wednesday at First District Court in Hempstead.
