Credible Threats Cited in Mount Vernon Mayor's Use of City Police to Protect Family
This is Mayor Richard Thomas's first term in office.
Mount Vernon, NY — Due to threats that have been received, Mount Vernon Mayor Richard Thomas and his family are using city police officers for security.
FIOS1News.com confirmed the additional security detail with Deputy Police Commissioner Shawn Harris, who called the threats “credible.”
