Board of Education
Three incumbents and two challengers are running for seats on the school board. The three candidates with the most votes will serve complete 3-year terms and the fourth-highest candidate will serve one year of an unexpired term.

Also on the ballot: Voters will be asked to approve adding an ex officio student member to the Board of Trustees. If approved, this proposition will provide a student voice on the Board of Education, the official policy-making body of the Mount Vernon City School District.
