Westchester Man Gets 15 Years For Repeated Sexual Assault Of Child
The grooming and sexual abuse began when the victim was just 11 years old and continued for two years before he was arrested this year.

MOUNT VERNON, NY — A 39-year-old Mount Vernon resident was sentenced today to 15 years in prison for engaging in sexual conduct with a child repeatedly for two years.
Brandon David was also sentenced to 15 years of post-release supervision and will be required to register as a sex offender after completing his prison sentence.
Between August 2018 and August 2020, David subjected the minor repeatedly to intercourse and other sexual acts. The abusive sexual conduct began when the victim was just 11 years old.

The Mount Vernon Police Department arrested David on March 26, following an investigation. In July, the defendant pled guilty to felony course of sexual conduct against a child in the first degree.
The case was before Judge Susan Cacace in Westchester County Court, and was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Charlotte Gudis of the Special Prosecutions Division.
