Westchester Man Admits Killing Homeless Man After Sex Hookup: NYPD

The stabbing happened early Monday morning in a Brooklyn park after the pair had a sexual encounter and smoked pot, according to reports.

YONKERS, NY— A Yonkers man was arrested and charged after he confessed to stabbing a homeless man in Brooklyn after a random sex encounter early Monday morning, according to the NYPD.

At around 2:30 a.m. on Monday, 28-year-old Anthony Dejesus reportedly contacted 911, admitting that he had stabbed 37-year-old Miguel Andrews in the notorious Vale of Cashmere area in the northern part of Prospect Park, near Grand Army Plaza, according to WPIX and the Daily News. The two men had met in the wooded area, smoked marijuana and Dejesus performed a sex act on Andrews before stabbing him, according to the Daily News.

Officers found Andrews unresponsive with stab wounds to his arms and upper torso and he was rushed to New York-Presbyterian Hospital Brooklyn Methodist but did not survive, according to the NYPD.

Dejesus was arrested and charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon, according to police. No suspected motive for the stabbing was given.
