3rd Annual Volunteer Day At Rockland Boulders is Saturday
Come watch the winners of the 2015 Volunteer of the Season Contest throw out the first pitch (and then stay for a great game and fireworks).

Saturday, August 1st at 6:30pm is the 3rd Annual Volunteer Day at the Boulders!
Join us as we recognize the winners of the 2015 First Pitch Contest, Pete Hubert and his wife Cheryl, who were nominated by their cousin Kathleen for their outstanding volunteerism and service. The couple has been volunteering in their community for over thirty years, saving lives and spending many long nights and weekends providing volunteer emergency services.
Pete who works 12 hours a day finds time to make every evening and weekend fire call that Stony Point Fire department has. He has been on over 1000 calls in his career. He is also the Treasurer for the department and attends all their monthly meetings.

Cheryl, who is the Assistant Director at Children of Mary Nursery School in Stony Point, volunteers for the Stony Point Ambulance Corps and is a driver who also sometimes works all night long or weekends when on call.
