HSRC on the Radio: Bibsy, by Brenda Ross

Brenda Ross, author of the new historical novel "Bibsy," joins Clare Sheridan on "Crossroads" at 10:10 am, November 16, on WRCR AM 1700.

Tune in to the next “Crossroads of Rockland History” on Monday, November 16, 10:10 am, when Clare Sheridan will welcome Brenda Ross, the author of a new historical novel, Bibsy. The story takes a peek into a corner of Rockland history that has been little explored: ”Up the Beach” in Haverstraw. Set in the 1950s, Bibsy captures a riverfront community being impacted by suburbanization and the importance and fragility of family.

That’s Monday, November 16, 10:10 am, right after the Steve and Meredyth show.

”Crossroads of Rockland History,” a program of the Historical Society of Rockland County, airs on the third Monday of each month at 10:10 am on WRCR Radio 1700 AM (live streaming at www.WRCR.com). Join host Clare Sheridan as we explore, celebrate, and learn about our local history, with different topics and guest speakers every month.
