Memorial Day 2022: Events In, Around Nanuet

NANUET, NY — Check out the events coming up in and around Nanuet.

The West Nyack/Nanuet Rotary hosts a Memorial Day parade starting at 11:00 am., Strawtown Road, from Clarkstown reformed Church to West Nyack Hamlet Green.

The Jewish War Veterans, American Legion, and Nanuet Fire Department will hold a ceremony.

• WHERE: the Nanuet Train Station Veterans Monument, 25 Prospect St., Nanuet

Watchfires for the troops will burn again across Rockland County. They will be lit in a 11:30 pm ceremony and burn for 24 hours at four locations in Rockland: Bowline Point Park in Haverstraw; Eugene Levy Memorial Park on Route 45 in Ramapo; East end of Piermont Pier; and top of Clausland Mountain Park in Orangeburg. Watchfires are sponsored by Vietnam Veterans of America No. 333.

There are several other events across Clarkstown from Friday to Monday.
