PEARL RIVER DAY FESTIVAL - SATURDAY, OCTOBER 10TH
Join us on Central Avenue from 11am-6pm for a day filled with shopping, food, music, kid's activities, entertainment and so much more.
On Saturday October 10th Pearl River will celebrate the 9th annual Pearl River Day. The event includes 5 blocks of shopping, entertainment, informational booths, rides and food vendors. The event runs from 11AM-6PM with ample parking available throughout town. Details of the event can be found at www.pearlriverny.org. The event will feature over 100 shopping and food vendors and two stages of entertainment. Entertainment at the showmobile will feature Chris Brown, 8th Grade Science band and PJ the DJ/Holt Entertainment plus Dance Central performing arts stage and much more. The major sponsors of the event include Montefiore Medical Center, Revolution Tattoo, ShopRite of Pearl River, Smith Cooling & Heating, Palisades Federal Credit Union and Mortgage Master, Inc.
In keeping with the family friendly reputation of the town, $15 wrist bands allow children unlimited day long access to all bouncy rides plus the opportunity to make sand art, paint a pumpkin, bingo and more for one low price. The event is run by the Pearl River Chamber of Commerce, led by President Matt Reid and Pearl River Day Chairperson Michelle Worob. Michelle said, “We have more vendors and sponsors than past years thus far, so expecting a great turn out. The event continues to grow every year.” Funds raised throughout the event go to the beautification fund for the Pearl River Chamber.
