Police quickly discovered the 24-year-old got a ride from someone who took him to the Port Authority bus terminal in New York City. With help from the Port Authority, they concluded he was on a bus to Boston. The Boston Police Department arrested him when the bus pulled in there that afternoon.
“After stabbing Jairo Danilo del Cid, this defendant fled the state; because of the great work of the Ramapo Police Department, this defendant was quickly apprehended," Chief Assistant District Attorney Dominic A. Crispino said in the announcement.
