Police ID Man Accused Of Nanuet Bank Robbery
Police said they arrested the man at a Nanuet hotel.

NANUET, NY — Clarkstown police have released the name of the person accused of robbing the Chase Bank in Nanuet Monday. Jamie Bass, 46, of New City, was arrested by the Clarkstown Police Department and charged with third-degree robbery, a felony, and petit larceny, a misdemeanor.
Police said they determined Bass was in a hotel room at the Days Inn in Nanuet.
He was arrested at that location and taken to police headquarters for processing.

Detectives reviewed surveillance video and interviewed employees of the bank, located on Route 59, after the robbery was reported at 10:40 a.m. Monday.
