20 Pound Spiked Hot Cocoa Lands in NYC

Get ready to celebrate National Hot Chocolate Day

In honor of National Hot Chocolate Day (1/31), Manhattan’s favored all-year round rooftop PHD Terrace at Dream Midtown is launching a limited-edition 20 POUND Spiked Hot Cocoa ($375) – created by pioneer Pastry Chef Paola Marocchi.

Dating back to the 17th century, the popular drink has evolved from Mexico and European regions, becoming a universally favored beverage. PHD Terrace’s 20 Pound Spiked Hot Cocoa is globally inspired with the blend of flavors and ingredients such as: Valrhona’s Extra Bitter 61% Chocolate, Jivara Chocolate from one of France’s most renowned Chocolatier’s, charred giant marshmallows, cinnamon sticks, homemade whipped cream and spicy cocoa powder.

Available from January 31 - February 14, Manhattanites are encouraged to pre-order two days prior to their reservation, and select a preferred liquor – Tequila (Casamigos Añejo) Mescal (Ilegal Reposado), Cognac (Hennessy VS) or Whiskey (Woodford Reserve)!
