West End Church will present a staged concert of Children of Eden on Wednesday, November 19 at 7:30 PM that builds off of the church’s fall theme of “sanctuary.” The performance will be held at West End Church, 245 West 77th Street, New York, NY.
Directed by Derrick Byars, this production brings a fresh perspective to Stephen Schwartz and John Caird’s beloved musical, reexamining the story of creation, family, and faith through a lens of inclusion to underscore its relevance to the current moment.
The cast features Maddy Wenig (Father), Arianna Hardaway (Eve), Drew Fillinger (Adam), Cordara Newson (Noah), Terrecia Williams (Mama), Ethan Yaheen-Moy Chan (Cain), Max Currie (Abel), Aamar-Malik Culbreth (Japheth), Andrew Riccio-Hunter (Yonah), Chuckie Benson (Ham), Kyle Montgomery (Shem), Quincy Lawson (Aphra), Marion Stenfort (Aysha), and storytellers Maddie Conti, Elena Farley, Carrington Symone, and Natalia Ramos.
