Bernard Scahill — Broadway tenor and founder of Concerts Under the Stars — returns to where it all began. It was right here at 74 Wythe, in the most uncertain days of the pandemic, that Bernard launched what would become a nationally celebrated concert series. Tonight, he's bringing it back to its roots — and bringing back one of its original stars with him.
Joining Bernard on stage is Benny Benack III, one of the performers who helped make CUTS something special from day one. A world-class trumpeter and vocalist, Benny has since toured the globe with Postmodern Jukebox, Josh Groban, Christian McBride, and Isaac Mizrahi, and appeared on NBC's Maya & Marty — and tonight he returns to the stage where it all started, alongside the man who built the series.
