1. We need to talk to you or your interior designer about the next aspects:

You can also buy your metal legs somewhere else and bring it to our shop. Wooden bases when choosing a wooden base for your tabletop, the option is using a live wood slab to build the base giving a similar look as the top or using a different king of wood boards to create a contrast.
5. What kind of finish we use for your live edge table? One of the best finishes to use is Ode's Oil, this finish is made using organic ingredients, it gives a beautiful texture and natural color to the wood if it's applied correctly, this finish is food safe. Conversion varnish, this wood finish gives a beautiful and stylish view to the area where is applied.

2. Building your live edge table by our team at the shop steps:

1. Picking the wood slabs; this is the first and very important step, here is where our teem check all the requirements submitted by you (the customer) or your interior designer.
2. Cutting the live edge slabs; in this step we make sure to meet your dimensions requirements, since the wood slabs follow the natural tree shapes, we give and approximately dimension to the width. If it's necessary, we glue pieces together to get the width depending on the customer decision or we can use a single slab piece.
3. Gluing the live wood slabs; here we put together the slabs using wood glue and clamps to hold the slabs in place.
4. Sanding down the wood surface to get it ready to apply the finish, our experienced wood workers use different methods to flat and make the wood smooth, paper sander from 60 grit to 800 grit.
5. Applying the finish; depending on the finish you decided we apply it using the best techniques to preserve the natural beauty of the slabs.
