Madison Cowan, Celebrity Chef and Alzheimer's Association Advocate promotes Manhattan Walk on CBS TV
Chef Madison Cowan will appear on CBS TV on Saturday to cook healthy recipes and discuss upcoming Walk to End Alzheimer's®.
Chef Madison Cowan, the first Grand Champion of Food Network’s Chopped, will be appearing on the cooking segment of CBS TV News this Saturday, October 21st at 9:45AM with Andrea Grymes and Cindy Hsu. In addition to sharing delicious, healthy recipes, Cowan will be discussing his participation in this year’s Alzheimer’s Association’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s®.
Madison’s culinary craftsmanship is inspired by his diverse upbringing with roots in London, Jamaica, and Detroit. Taught by his mother, who was the primary caregiver to his father for 12 years, Cowan’s cuisine reflects the importance of food and time spent with his family.
In hopes of spreading awareness about the disease that robbed his late father and father-in-law of their memories, Cowan became an Alzheimer’s Advocate.

“One of the first things I did when I gained exposure on television was to really sit down and try to search out charities that I could lend exposure and a voice to. The Alzheimer’s Association immediately stood out. It was personal” Says Madison Cowan.
