Vincent Golembiowski, at 88, received a distinction he never thought he’d see – his long-delayed high school diploma--even though Vincent never completed high school. How could that be? Well, Vincent realized at the ripe old age of 17, that he had a choice: get drafted into the Korean War, or join the armed services of his own volition.
