New York Jets 2017 Preseason: Schedule, How To Watch, Roster Moves, Transportation

The Jets will face off against the Titans, Lions, Giants and the Eagles during this year's NFL preseason.

NEW YORK CITY — The New York Jets may have a long season ahead of them. After cutting the majority of the team's veteran players after a disastrous 5-win season, the Jets are likely tanking for a high draft pick next year. If that's the case, the preseason "Snoopy Bowl" may be the only trophy the Jets play for this year.

Other than a week three matchup against the New York Giants — in which key players often get injured while duking it out for a trophy modeled after a cartoon dog — the Jets will match up against the Tennessee Titans, Detroit Lions and Philadelphia Eagles during the four-week preseason.

The Jets will be playing away from MetLife Stadium just once this preseason — they're technically on the road against the Giants — in a week two matchup at Ford Field in Detroit.

Getting to MetLife Stadium:

Want to check out this Jets squad in person? Getting to MetLife Stadium from New York City can be tricky, but Patch is here to help.

The easiest way to get to the stadium is by taking public transportation. By taking public transportation to the game you can avoid the headache-inducing Lincoln Tunnel and New Jersey Turnpike.

New Jersey Transit runs trains from Secaucus Junction directly to MetLife Stadium. New Yorkers should catch Metro North Railroad from Grand Central Station to Secaucus Junction and transfer to New Jersey Transit.

  • QB Josh McCown: Acquired in free agency.
