NYC Slammed By 1st Blizzard In A Decade: See Updated Snowfall Totals
Some parts of the city saw two feet of snow during Monday's blizzard.

NEW YORK CITY — New York City is recovering after a nor'easter brought blizzard conditions and over a foot of snow to the area.
The emergency ban on all non-essential road travel during Monday's blizzard has been lifted, according to Mayor Zohran Mamdani.

Up to 2.3 more inches of snow are expected to fall throughout the day. This is the city's first blizzard since 2016.

The storm has dumped between 14 and 24 inches of snow in some parts of the city since Sunday afternoon, according to forecasters. Visibility has been reduced to just a quarter of a mile in some places, with wind gusts blowing between 40 and 50 miles per hour.
