• Mullin defends ICE agent's actions in New York shooting, condemns sanctuary cities (borderreport.com) — New Yorkers are hearing sharply different explanations after an ICE officer shot a man during an arrest attempt in New York, with Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin defending the agent and blasting sanctuary city policies. Gov. Kathy Hochul and Mayor Zohran Mamdani have condemned the shooting as an outrage, while federal officials portray the suspect as a dangerous repeat offender and vow to keep targeting what they call the "worst of the worst."
