The Quentin Tarantino Inspired KillBar Opens in Williamsburg

There's a new hot spot in Brooklyn

Quentin Tarantino fans rejoice! There's a new bar coming to town, completely inspired by the directors films. It's calledKillBar and it's the brainchild of owner Michael Galkovich.

UK based creative director Amar Stewart helped bring Galkovich's vision to life by creating an over-sized oil painting showcasing Jamie Foxx on a horse, to pay homage to Tarantino’s flick Django Unchained in addition to a massive installation of Uma Thurman in the yellow bodysuit she made famous in Kill Bill and its subsequent sequels. KillBar’s actual bar was inspired by the one in the film Inglorious Basterds while the rest of the interior is lovingly influenced by various characters from Tarantino’s universe.

KillBar's menu is brought to you by Executive Chef Kairsten Nunn aka Nunn Betta. Signature dishes include the Kill-Bill Burger, Hateful Eight Wings and Death Proof Chili. Signature cocktails include the KillBar Moscow Mule, Tarantino Iced Tea and the Bloody Bride Mojito made with muddled blood oranges.
