NEW YORK, NY — The FIFA Women's World Cup might be dominating the United States' soccer universe right now, but another tournament is also going on for the men's team — the 2019 Concacaf Gold Cup.

The tournament brings together all the best teams from North America, Central America and the Caribbean. The squad from the United States currently sits behind only Mexico as the favorites to win the tournament, and the U.S. team got off to a strong start with a 4-0 victory over Guyana in the opening game of the competition.

The United States are now set for their second game of the tournament, against Trinidad & Tobago, on Saturday, June 22, at 8 p.m. It's a revenge game for the United States as the Trinidadian team defeated them in the final game of the World Cup 2018 qualification process to keep them from making the tournament.

With live music performed every night, one wouldn't guess that the Red Lion also serves as one of the best soccer viewing bars in the city. Stop by Saturday night to enjoy the Gold Cup game, and maybe get some live music in the background.

Carragher's Pub and Restaurant: 228 W 39th Street, Manhattan

Liverpool fans might have a little added motivation to spend their Saturday night watching the United States take on Trinidad & Tobago at Carragher's as the restaurant is owned and managed by former Anfield legend, Jamie Carragher.

Carragher might not be there in the flesh, but the pub is one of the best soccer watching spots in New York City. The bar does fill up fast though, so booking a reservation is the best plan of action.

Slainte Bar and Lounge: 304 Bowery, Manhattan

The lower Manhattan spot is known for two things — fantastic craft beer and a true commitment to soccer viewership. The spacious brick walled bar is sure to get crowded quickly for the United States matchup with Trinidad & Tobago — arriving early is the best move here.

Iona: 180 Grand Street, Brooklyn

Named after an ancient island on which Scottish Kings were buried, the Brooklyn based joint is one of the best soccer bars in NYC. Soccer is almost always on the TVs within Iona, and don't forget to take a break in the beer garden during halftime.

The Soccer Tavern: 6004 Eighth Avenue, Brooklyn

The name gets straight to the point for this Brooklyn bar, but The Soccer Tavern is undoubtedly one of the premier spots to watch the beautiful game in all of New York City. Surrounded by true supporters of the game — check out the Eighth Avenue joint if you're in the neighborhood and looking to watch the U.S.A. men's team game.
